About Salon
Salon is an online marketplace operated by Salon SAS (Lyon, France) and powered by Kreezalid. It allows independent artists and studios ("Sellers") to offer artworks, prints and related products to customers ("Buyers").
Salon is not the seller of the items listed by Sellers. When you buy an artwork, the contract of sale is concluded directly between you and the Seller. Salon provides the platform, payment processing and customer support.
Your account
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your login details confidential.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, is used fraudulently, or harms other members of the community.
Orders and prices
Prices are shown in euros and include VAT. Shipping costs are calculated per Seller and shown before you pay.
Your order is confirmed once payment is accepted and you receive a confirmation email. Made-to-order items go into production after confirmation. In the event of an obvious pricing error, the Seller may cancel the order and you will be fully refunded.
Payment
Payments are processed securely by our payment provider. When your order contains items from several Sellers, the amount is split automatically and each Seller only receives their share.
Your payment method is charged when you place your order. Salon never stores your full card details.
Delivery
Each Seller ships their own parcel from their studio or production partner. Delivery dates shown on the site are estimates and may vary during busy periods.
Please check your parcel on arrival and report any damage within 48 hours, with photos, so we can arrange a replacement.
Returns and right of withdrawal
You may return any non-personalised item within 30 days of delivery, at no cost. Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging.
Personalised items are excluded from the right of withdrawal unless they are defective. Refunds are made to your original payment method within 14 days of the Seller receiving the item.
Artworks and intellectual property
Sellers keep all copyright and intellectual property rights in their artworks. Buying a print or an original does not give you the right to reproduce, adapt or sell copies of the work.
Product photos are as accurate as possible, but colours may vary slightly depending on your screen.
Seller obligations
Sellers guarantee that they own the rights to the works they list, describe them accurately, and ship orders within the announced timeframe.
Sellers pay a platform fee on each sale, as set out in the Seller Agreement, which forms an additional contract between Salon and each Seller.
Liability
Salon is responsible for operating the platform with reasonable care. Each Seller is responsible for the items they sell, their conformity and their delivery.
Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force on the date of your order applies to that order.
These terms are governed by French law. If a dispute arises, please contact us first — you may also refer it to a consumer mediator or the competent courts, in accordance with applicable consumer protection rules.
